Silver box dunks typically are off the chain in terms of quality. These Nike Dunk Low SB Broncos are no exception!
When I buy dunks nowadays, I’m expecting them to look good but not be that comfortable or to have that great of materials, but SB’s that came out in the early-mid 2000s tell a different story. The shape and quality on pairs like this are legendary. It is notable that this pair is also known as the reverse Supas. The colorway does seem like the reverse of the first SB dunks to drop. These also came out during the “thinner tongue” era of SB’s. The tongue is still stuffed, but less so than dunks that would come before and after.
How Are The Materials?
The suede areas are very smooth and the leather is supple. The leather does have some texture even though it’s not what I would call pebbled. The materials are excellent overall, which is typical of dunks from this era. The shoe is well built, and while these might not have the fame of other dunks from that time, they keep up in terms of looks and construction.
How Do They Fit?
Nike Dunk Low SB Broncos fit true to size and are very comfortable. The thinner tongue allows for a little bit more room, so I might have even been able to go down a half size. The shoe is a little heavy compared to the ninja sock type shoes popular today. This is mostly due to the materials used and solid build mentioned above. That doesn’t mean these are not comfortable; they are among some of the comfiest dunks I own!
